Alphabet Desk Tag

On this Indigenous designed desk label, children can use the alphabet chart to help with their writing. It also comes with a number chart from 1 to 20, left and right-hand image and Australian Animal Alphabet.

A great way to incorporate Indigenous language into your lessons is to point to a letter and get the children to name the Indigenous language word for that animal (e.g. If you point to the K for Koala, the children will say the local Indigenous language word for Koala). This activity could be used as an exit ticket as children leave the classroom.
